VILLAGE TEA HUT IS A NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY TEA SPACE DEVOTED TO SHARING THE PRACTICE OF CHA DAO (THe WAY OF TEA), WITH ALL WHO ARE AVAILABLE TO RECEIVE IT.

We host public tea ceremonies open to the community, welcoming both newcomers & experienced practitioners. Our space serves as a gathering place where people can participate in the service of tea - either as host or as guest - and learn the practice firsthand.
We offer education in the preparation, serving, and drinking of tea, along with the history and traditions behind the practice.
We operate a retail space that connects our community with the teas and teawares they need to practice tea at home and to serve tea to others. This allows people to continue what they learn with us and to extend the practice into their own lives and communities.
We provide a quiet, welcoming environment where people can step away from daily life, slow down, and connect with themselves, with one another, and with Nature through tea.
